Metals and thicknesses we cut
Every thickness below is stocked and priced online. Waterjet cuts cold, with water and abrasive instead of heat, so the edges have no burn marks, the plate doesn't warp, and there is no heat-affected zone.

What sizes can you cut?
Plates from 10 mm up to 3000 × 1500 mm, the largest sheet we stock. Enter the sizes either way round.
Can I get thin steel sheet?
Mild steel starts at 5 mm. For thinner sheet, choose aluminium, brass or copper: the table above lists every thickness we stock.
How long does it take?
Parts are cut within 9 business days of payment. Delivery time is on top of that: Parcel Post or Express Post, your choice at checkout.
How is delivery priced?
At checkout, by weight and address, with Australia Post. Parts over 1000 mm long, or orders over 22 kg, are too big for Australia Post: for those, checkout offers to quote freight separately. See shipping and returns.
Is there a minimum order?
No. Order one plate or a hundred, and the price per plate drops as the quantity goes up. For more than 100 of one plate, email hello@kerf.au and we'll price the run.
