Instant pricing
Upload your file at kerf.au/quote and the price appears in seconds, calculated from the actual geometry of your part. Change material, thickness, finish or quantity and the price updates live. No account is needed to price or order.
Every quote gets a number (it looks like KF-2609-7K3Q) and its prices are held for 14 days. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Delivery is separate, added at checkout, and an ABN invoice is available with every order.
What moves the price
Four things set the price of a part.
- Material and thickness. Thicker material cuts slower, so it costs more per part.
- Cut length. The jet is priced by the distance it travels, and every hole and slot adds to it. A detailed, lacy part costs more than a plain one of the same size.
- Quantity. Parts on the same order share the setup, so the unit price falls as quantity rises. The quote shows the unit price for the quantity you choose; it is worth trying a few numbers.
- Finish. Parts ship as cut unless you choose deburring, which is available on parts up to 200 mm in any dimension.
File review before cutting
The instant check is thorough, but every file is still reviewed before it is cut, so what arrives is what you designed. If we find a problem the automatic check missed, we contact you before cutting.
The same rule covers prices. If an instant price turns out to be wrong, we tell you before we cut and give you the corrected price. You can accept it or cancel that part for a full refund. We never cut and charge you more without asking first.
Lead time
Parts are cut within 9 business days of payment. Delivery time is on top of that. We email you the moment your parts ship.
Shipping
We ship Australia-wide with Australia Post, Parcel Post or Express Post, your choice at checkout. Delivery is calculated at checkout from your address and the weight of your parts, and each part's weight comes from its actual geometry, not a guess.
Your quote total is for the parts only. How returns work for custom-cut parts is covered in shipping and returns.
Reorders
Every part you order is saved to your parts library. Sign in with your email, no password needed, and reorder in a couple of clicks, priced at current rates.
The library also keeps itself tidy: upload a file you have uploaded before and the workspace recognises it and reuses the existing part instead of creating a copy.
Tax invoices
Every paid order has a tax invoice as a PDF in your Order history: open Orders in the quote workspace, find the order and click Tax invoice. It shows KERF CUTTING's ABN, the GST included and everything you paid, delivery included, ready for your bookkeeping. Prices on the site include GST.
An order confirmation also arrives by email as soon as payment goes through, and a second email when your parts ship.
Your files and intellectual property
Your design files stay yours. We claim no ownership or licence over anything you upload beyond what is needed to cut and deliver your parts and keep a record of the order. Files are stored securely, used only to cut your parts, and never shared.
To have your files, account or data deleted, email hello@kerf.au and we will action it promptly. The full detail is in the privacy policy.
